What a Desk evening is for
Markup Desk sits between classroom teaching and live trading. You already know what a breakout or pullback looks like. The Desk asks you to apply your written rules to unfamiliar bars under light facilitation.
Evenings are ninety minutes. Most of that time is quiet marking. We open with a short focus — reclaim entries, protective stops, or trail rules — then hand out a chart pack aligned to that focus.
You do not receive trade recommendations. You receive contested bars to judge, and a chance to compare how strictly you applied your own wording versus someone else’s.
Typical evening flow
Mark
You annotate the pack against your playbook. No chat during the first marking block — the point is your decision, not the room’s average opinion.
Compare
We open two or three contested bars only. Disagreement usually traces back to fuzzy wording, which you then tighten.
Close
You note one rule tweak or one habit to keep. Homework is optional; Intensive alumni often bring the same sheet to the next Open Markup Evening.
